Congratulations on a Well Earned Retirement

Pam,

Congratulations on your retirement and thank you for the indelible impact you have had on Kaiser over the course of 37 years!

As we are sure you know, the consultants often said that you were the “heart of soul of Kaiser!” While Kaiser will continue to plug along, we have no doubt there will be an operational and emotional void to fill on “Day 1 of the Post-Pam Era.”

We also want to thank you for the impact you had on us early in our careers. As we reflect, we have fond memories of the days you called each one of us to energetically offer us the job:

“Yes, and yes!!! We are SO EXCITED you’ve accepted our offer!!!...Very good news!!!”

[the above is an actual quote from Emily’s offer e-mail]

In the years that followed, you were always there to provide a steady and responsive guiding hand. Whether it was problem solving a staffing crunch, hiring a contractor across the globe or simply navigating the complexities of benefits packages, it was always reassuring to know you were there to support us.

It’s rare in today’s world to have such a passionate human capital leader stay at one firm for the better part of 4 decades. Kaiser will miss you!

Congrats again! Hope you have amazing adventures ahead with your family in your much-deserved retirement.

All the best,
Robby, Emily, & Alyssa
